    Assists in the University’s budget preparation and consolidation process.

    Responsible for reporting on analyses of Auxiliary Funds, Athletics, Contracts and Grants, Foundation, Tech Fee, and Direct Support Organizations.  Also responsible for overseeing the budget development tools.

    Specializes in analyzing revenues and expenses associated with auxiliary activities to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and proficient management of fund balances, maintaining financial and budgetary controls, creating financial projections, and monitoring performance metrics for the operations.

    Areas of focus include:

    • Auxiliary activity finances
    • Capital projects and Fund balances
    • Shared service fee
    • Smart internal billing
    • Reporting and Variance analysis
    • Budget development tools and procedures.

    Assists in the development of the annual operating budget process.  Specializes in analyzing and reporting on Athletics, Contracts and Grants, and Direct Support Organizations. Develops and maintains financial reports and dashboards.  Also responsible for preparing the University Support analysis for Direct Support Organizations.

    Financial Analyst

    Assists in the development of the annual operating budget process.  Specializes in analyzing and reporting on Auxiliary activities, prepares monthly reconciliations for cash transfers, monitors fund balances, reviews, and maintains smart internal items to establish standardized rates, and assists in the annual evaluation of the shared service fee.

    • Other Auxiliaries
    • Tech Fee
    • Board Approved Fee
    • Budget Authority Amendments (BAA) to address budget deficits for the above-mentioned funds

    Daniella Gutierrez

    Financial and System Analyst

    Serves as the team liaison with the technology teams to develop and maintain information systems and reports necessary to support consolidated, university-wide reporting, and budgetary control processes. Additionally, assists in processing budget amendments for Auxiliary and Contracts & Grants funds.

    Areas of focus include:

    • Setting up and utilizing budget development tools within PantherSoft Financials
    • Maintaining the budget portal
    • Processing budget amendments for Auxiliary and Contracts and Grants

    Provides administrative support in the operations of the Auxiliary and Enterprise Department and the Office of Financial Planning. Acts as budget manager and Human Resources liaison, coordinates, and provides logistic support for all departmental and University-Wide meetings.
